You must commit to attending the three annual residential retreats, including the overnight stays. By ticking the boxes, you are confirming your availability to attend:(Required)

The Net+ Leadership Academy will take place over four years, in a series of 3-day residential retreats held in mid-September 2026, 2027, and 2028.

16 September (1pm start) - 18 September 2026 (2pm finish) (confirmed at Dartington Hall, Devon)
15-17 September 2027 (provisional, venue TBC)
13-15 September 2028 (provisional, venue TBC)

You will also be expected to keep in touch with other related activities, such as a group Teams channel, and will be invited to attend events such as the Centre’s Annual Meeting and Centre’s online seminar series.

We expect applicants to source funding to attend the Net+ Leadership Academy retreats (approximately £300/year) from their organisation wherever possible. However, if a lack of funding would otherwise preclude your involvement, you can request a fee-waiver scholarship.

The following TWO questions will be assessed as part of your application and will be scored using the scoring criteria set out in Q15 of the FAQs. The assessment will be through a blind screening, as part of our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion best practice (e.g. reducing unconscious bias).

We therefore request that you do not include identifying information (such as names of people, organisations, reports, publications etc.) in your answer. You should still tell us about yourself and your skills and experiences, but in a way that identifying information is removed. For example, you might tell us ‘I led a report about x/y/z’ rather than ‘I led [title of report / names of authors]’.
