Dr Tara Quinn is a Principal Climate Change Scientist within the UKHSA’s Climate Change and Health Security Centre. She is a social scientist who has worked on climate change adaptation for 15 years focusing on risk, governance and health and wellbeing. Tara has worked with local authority decision makers and members of the public on flood risk management, health risk communication for heatwaves and adaptation planning. Her role in the mobilisation team in CCHS focuses on mobilising knowledge and evidence of health and climate change for a range of stakeholders, making sure that research projects and other centre outputs reflect user needs.
