Research on economic and social dynamics of climate change, resilience and vulnerability, with work across the social and natural sciences on political economy, human security, public health and demography. Neil collaborates with social and natural scientists globally and currently co-leads a major investigation of migration as adaptation to climate change with colleagues across South Asia and through Exeter’s School of Public Health Research on community-led adaptation actions. He holds a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship on mission driven adaptation to climate change.
