Katya is a Principal Environmental Public Health Scientist at UKHSA. She is a social scientist with expertise in designing, conducting and managing scientific or advisory research projects, to ensure effective, robust evidence-based decision-making, policy and practice. She has special interests in health and social equity; indigenous rights; health impacts of, and building community resilience to, adverse weather and climate change; qualitative and community-led social research methods.
