Public Engagement Research Fellow, Net Positive Centre

Jess is a Public Engagement Research Fellow at the University of Exeter’s European Centre for Environment and Human Health (ECEHH) in the the Centre for Net Positive Health and Climate Solutions.
She has worked at ECEHH on climate change and health since 2020. Previous to that she worked 10 years in senior public health practice roles. She has expertise in climate and health, health equity, children and young people’s health, sexual health, women and girls’ rights and domestic and sexual violence.
Her work centres around bridging the gap between research, policy and practice; bringing a public health approach to big issues like climate adaptation and promoting equitable engagement and co-design approaches with a focus on creative or play-based methods.
