My research uses computational methods (AI & data science) to address challenges around sustainability and environmental change. I am part of the Department of Computer Science at University of Exeter, where I lead a research group that uses machine learning, large language models and computer vision to analyse environmental data in various domains, including climate change, conservation/biodiversity and Earth observation. Previously I have worked in the intersection between computational and social sciences, studying the Web and social media, especially around climate politics and online debates. I enjoy collaboration and try to achieve research impact by working with external organisations.
