Emma is a Principal Climate Change Scientist at UKHSA.  She works on a range of topics related to the health impacts from climate change but predominantly vector-borne and infectious diseases and mental health. She led the publication of the Health Effects of Climate Change in the UK report in 2023, and was a lead author on the vector-borne disease, infectious disease and drought chapters. She is one of the lead authors for the infectious disease risk for the 4th Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA), which will be published later in 2025. Emma is currently co-leading a thematic report on climate change impacts on mental health in the UK.
