Dr Jo Garrett is an environmental social scientist with a research focus on how environmental conditions and social contexts shape population health and well‑being. This work centres on environmental quality and human–environment interactions, with a particular interest in health inequalities. Jo's research predominantly uses quantitative analysis of national survey data, often linked with environmental datasets, to explore these relationships. Jo also has particular interests in biodiversity, citizen science, and community engagement.
