Annika is a Senior Evidence Reviewer in Climate and Health, looking at the various health and health equity impacts of climate change (and the health impacts of our adaptation/mitigation responses). Her interdisciplinary research background spans planning and housing, health inequalities, systems science, inclusive economies, and climate adaptation, with a focus on co-design methods and stakeholder engagement. Before joining UKHSA, Annika was a research associate at the University of Glasgow, using the Doughnut Economics framework to explore whole-system solutions to climate breakdown, with a health and equity focus.
