Catherine’s research interests are in the governance of environmental change and transitions associated with climate change, with focus on the implications for health and wellbeing. Recent projects have examined; community-led responses to extreme weather, including flooding, heat and cold; the health and wellbeing impacts of adaptations to flood risk; and the implications of transforming homes for sustainability, health and wellbeing.
