Ai Milojevic is an environmental epidemiologist with long standing interests in health impacts of environmental and climate change, particularly focusing on aerosol, weather (heat, cold, heavy rainfall, flooding etc), noise and greenspace. She received academic and field research training of epidemiology in Japan (Keio University School of Medicine) and in the UK (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) with JSPS Post-Doc research fellowship. Currently, she leads the climate and health indicators work in UK Health Security Agency as Senior Epidemiology Scientist. Prior to this, she was an Assistant Professor in Epidemiology and led varieties of research to quantify the impacts of single or multiple environmental factors as well as to evaluate specific public health policies through empirical study designs and health impact assessment. She is Honorary Assistant Professor in LSHTM, Global Professor in Keio University in Japan, a member of Expert Committee for Ministry of Environment Japan in PM2.5 epidemiological study and Health risk assessment of photochemical oxidant. She also serves as a management group member of UK & Ireland Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Society.
