I lead a national team of staff with a threefold mission to: strengthen people’s connection, positive engagement with, and access to, vibrant, resilient and nature-rich landscapes; to mainstream nature in everyday lives through the promotion of nature-based solutions in policy and practice in GI and place-making, education and health; and to ensure that our reserves, parks and trails are relevant to everyone in Scotland and demonstrate and share best practice in protecting, restoring and valuing nature.
